Eurocucina 2014 Kitchen Design Trends #10 Monochromatic Colours

On the whole we saw a disappearance of the glossy brights from the last show as mostly dark, monochromatic tones lead the way. Dark and light timber tones seemed to anchor many of the schemes, perhaps inadvertently creating a more masculine flavour in many of the kitchens on display. In some cases one or two primary colours were used as interest points, however, a seamless, integrated look and feel became the general trend. The best designs incorporated a considered combination of textures in the same tones in order to create a pleasing overall design.
